Randy, Co-Owner of First3 Personal Protection, grew up in East Texas where he hunted, fished and learned to love the outdoors.  Randy went into the U.S. Army, not too long after high school, where he served in the 3rd US Infantry.  After he was honorably discharged from the Army, Randy returned to where his heart was, East Texas. 

     He was hired by the Lufkin Police Department and has been serving the people of his community for over 28 years.  Randy is currently serving as the training Sergeant in charge of all of the departmental training and was a former FTO who is now in charge of the FTO program.  He is serving as SWAT sniper, SWAT sniper instructor and firearms instructor, Active Attack defense instructor, among other things.  Randy has been teaching the LTC course and all manner of firearms and use of force classes for many years and is passionate about firearms, personal protection, and training.  Randy has attended extensive firearms training from Brian Hill, Doug Koening, Scott Jedlinski and many more.  Randy is a TCOLE (Texas Commission on Law Enforcement) Advanced Instructor and NRA Certified Precision Rifle and Patrol Rifle Instructor.   Randy is a DPS certified School Safety Instructor.
